Anybody done any research on the Flat Rock Road area just outside of Eastwood in Eastern Jefferson County? I've been living out here for a little over two years and there is definitly an energy out here. I'm tryng to determine if its always been here or if its a result of all the new development going on.

That area is very rich in early Kentucky history. Abraham Lincoln's grandfather is buried near there. Many stories of Indians vs White Man.  I suggest going to the U of L library or the main Free library downtown.  They have literature on the area that is fascinating.  As a teenager I roamed all over that area of jefferson/shelby county.
